Working Alongside Your GP
Once you are stable on medication, some patients seek a shared care arrangement with their GP
- NHS GPs are under guidance to only accept reports and assessments they believe are accurate and valid. This is why our report is 20+ pages, to provide full clarity on the diagnosis.
- We believe our assessment and report will be accepted as valid by your GP. We meet all criteria set out in the Hereford and Worcestershire Integrated Care Board clinical policies guidance (294-attention-deficit-hyperactivity-disorder-adhd-prescribing-guidance). Copies available on request.
- However not all GPs are comfortable prescribing ADHD medication.
- We suggest you discuss this with your GP when you visit for your “GP Screening Form”.
We are happy to have direct contact with GPs to confirm how we meet all appropriate criteria for shared care.
