April is an experienced and compassionate adult and adolescence (12+) therapist. She has full BACP counselling registration, three degrees plus is presently completing her Psychology Doctorate in 2023.
April can provide the time and space for you to explore your issues in a non-judgemental and compassionate way. Whether you need a listening ear, problem-solving, symptom reduction or the like, we can try to find ways to ease your distress and fulfil your goals. She is interested in helping clients develop healthy coping mechanisms so when therapy is over, you have the resources to move in your chosen direction with resilience and calm. Working through issues to find root causes and new ways to live with, around, or without problems.
April has a wealth of research-based resources that we can use to help you navigate through life’s demands and difficulties.
April has a special interest in addiction therapy, and has experience and training of working in this area.
