Bolu Abifarin

Bolu is an experienced Independent Prescriber providing ADHD medication to clients with a confirmed diagnosis of ADHD, who meet clinical inclusion criteria.

As well as private practice, Bolu is also employed by the NHS within an ADHD service, managing a caseload of patients and providing medication initiation, review and dose titration.

• Independent Prescriber and Advanced Clinical Practitioner
• Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and Royal Pharmaceutical society (RPS)
• Associate member of the College of Mental Health Pharmacy (CMHP)
• Over 10 years experience as a clinical pharmacist
• Over 5 years working in mental health within inpatient and community settings
• Experience working with adults, children and young people over a wide range of mental and physical health conditions
• Able to provide effective medicines information and counselling by simplifying complex concepts which patients can easily understand. This improves both the therapeutic relationship and adherence to medication

• Psychopharmacological management of ADHD
• Providing medicines information and advice in response to complex enquiries
• Creating shared-care arrangements with GPs for continued medication
• Neurodevelopmental conditions including ADHD and ASD
• Medicines management: promoting medicines optimisation and tackling polypharmacy

• Independent Prescriber for ADHD medication in private practice with Malvern Hills Private PRactice
• Lead pharmacist for neurodevelopmental and learning disabilities services (NLDS) – North East London Foundation Trust: strategic and operational lead for ADHD pathway
• Independent/Non-medical prescriber in ADHD – ADHD Care
• Specialist mental health pharmacist – North East London Foundation Trust
• Rotational pharmacist – Basildon University Hospital

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner – London South Bank University, 2022
• Prescribing for Clinical Practice as an Independent Prescriber  – London South Bank University, 2021
• Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) in Psychiatric Therapeutics – Aston University, 2019
• Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) in Pharmacy Practice – University of East Anglia, 2017
• Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) – UCL School of Pharmacy, 2012

• Remote sessions only
• Available for clients diagnosed by a Psychologist within Malvern Hills Private Practice (MHPP)
• Available for clients whose diagnosing practitioner, outside of MHPP, is registered with our Partnership Program
• Cost is £TBC for the initial Medication Review Session (50 mins) plus £30 per prescription
• Follow ups £TBC for 30 mins review or £TBC for a 15 min check in call.
