Dr Michelle is an extremely experienced and approachable psychologist. She has worked in a variety of settings within the NHS, Charity Sector and Civil Service, where she has held leadership positions and has been responsible for significant service developments. She remains passionate about working collaboratively with individuals experiencing distress, as well as supporting families and professional carers. She specialises in working with adults (16+) and feels privileged to witness the positive transformations achieved in clients, taking pride in her ability to de-mystify psychological theory for their benefit.
Dr Michelle adopts an integrative approach, adapting to the unique needs and contexts of her clients, by drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches. These are primarily based in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and include Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Behaviour Family Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy and Mindfulness.
